had connect night today,all it means is that our cell groups had a day off from bible study and we could connect with one another,hence "connect night". hehehe. my group decided to do a steamboat competition whereby each group had a budget of $40-50 and we had to get ingredients for steamboat which included all the food groups,i.e veggies,meat,carbo etc. it was pretty fun and we had games after that. more ppl joined us later and the whole house became very noisy and crowded. hahaha but it was fun and my group "won" the competition because we cooked tom yam. alwiz go with tom yam, it's a good choice! haha. too bad connect night only occurs once a semester,so sad. but nvm, i'm sure we'll have more chances to do this type of things again. =)

dear girl,

i just wanna say thanks so much for everything. throughout these 13 years of friendship, you have been nothing but a pillar of strength and fun! from being small girls and wearing the checked grey skirt at fuchun pri to wearing the disgusting maroon skirt at bp, we have spent 13 years of time together and i have so many fond memories with you.

it amazes me how everytime you come online and chat with me, you say something that displays how well you know me even without me telling you. do we have lyk 6th sense/ telepathy or what?? haha. thanks for always listening to me vent on msn and for not judging me despite everything i might have said or done.

even tonight, when i feel so down and so malu, you managed to cheer me up with your encouraging words and the funny memories of how we used to be so gaga over the guys in BP. hahaha, some things never change huh, or at least, I haven't. hehe. but oh wells, the "admire you from afar" thingy was the funniest la, i bet you still get embarassed thinking about it now right, hehehe.

anyway, we're all growing up now and you're hitting the big 2-0 in a few weeks time. we've crossed miles and miles, from spore-msia to spore-australia but i just wanna let you know that you still are one of my closest friends and that i really thank God for blessing me with this friendship. take lotsa care and I'll be praying for you to get the electives you bidded for. love you! =)

p/s: your card's hanging on my wall and i still remember a certain promise we made about inviting each other to a certain event,hahaha. let's see who holds it first huh, but i bet it's youuuu. =p don't flirt too much with the boys in uni, leave some for meee!!! =))))))

ok time to finally update about the infamous road trip.actuali it was ok la,not bad and quite fun.jus that it turned out to be pretty expensive and there were some problems with the car arrangement so was pretty pissed off about it at that time but everything's fine now. =)

anyway,the 6 of us-xan,caroline,me,yiing,jack and vim rented a tarago and michael kindly offered to drive us around since he said he didn't trust our i.e vimalan's driving skills.haha.so yeah,we were researching the previous night and they thought it would be a good idea to go to the zoo -_- to see the tasmanian devils and all.i dont like la, disgusting furry ugly things but anw,guess who was outvoted and where we ended up going??? ....no comments man....

so yup,away to the zoo we went.the journey there was pretty long,i was so excited at 1st cuz road trip mah then after sitting in the car...and sitting...and sitting...i got bored,slept.haha.anyway after much detours cuz sum1 lost his way *ahem* but yeah,we finally arrived at ZOODOO WILDLIFE PARK.wah the name sounds damn happening right.bought our tix and guess who we saw upon entering??vimalau's dearest,his malau family!!!! haha and the monkeys were so happy at seeing vim that they peed man,hahaha.

and wah lao,i kena conned.i thought zoo ryt,as in zoo la,walk around and look at the animals.but i didn't know it was going to be interactive. -_- so anw,we sat in this open air jeep thingy and we interacted with the animals.feed feed feed.scream scream scream.run run run.pretty fun actuali (once the whole thing was over) cuz actuali i was too bz screaming away and begging them to let me out of the jeep,haha.and omgosh,xan was HILARIOUS.i think i've never laughed so much in my entire life at all.i've got a particularly nice shot of her screaming,so damn funny.even now when i look at pics,i'll jus laugh to myself,hahahaha. (and ya i was screaming too but that's besides the point =p )

so yeah,saw all the animals la.nothing really much.all types lor.what you want also have.tasmanian devils, kangaroos,wallabies,deer,llamas,camels,pigs,rabbits,ponies.lots la.some sooo preety,hehe.

had lunch after that cuz so hungry.michael kept insisting the place serves fabulous pies.wah lao kena conned AGAIN.not very nice also.i think pie in the sky in melbourne is so much better,but anw,wadeva la.as long as had food.

headed up to mt wellington after that even though we were so inappropriately dressed.someone pls tell me to use my brains next tym.it was snowing up on the mountain and we were lyk dressed in layers and 1 jacket onli.apparently u're supposed 2 wear 2 layers of everything cuz u'll get wet,cold,bla bla bla.but they said it was gonna be ok so yeah up we went!

we were suposed 2 be able to see the whole of sandy bay from the top of mt wellington but because it was too cold,the whole thing misted up so cannot see anything.and it was freaking cold la!lyk shivering nonstop and got wind sumore.and the guys were damn mean,they offered to take pictures for us then made us walk to some corner.then when we walked there right,wah lao,they ran back to the car and locked us out la. and happily laugh from the inside sumore.it was super super cold la,lyk rain pelting down,wind blowing and all.my fingers and cheeks also numb man.tsk.

wanted to play with snow after that but too cold so we just ran out of the car and snapped pictures then ran back in again.haha.left mt wellington and began the long winding journey back home.bathed and then headed out for dinner and clubbing at curly's.ok la,wasnt very fun but not too bad.

next morn,headed to church and then decided to go port arthur after lunch.port arthur is a convict place okie,it's a prison.where they put all the convicts from dunno where.so ulu and had to drive lyk 2-3 hours just to go there.zzzzz. the place itself was ok la, abit freaky cuz they have all these "torture chambers",actually not really la,jus rooms with brick walls,cannot see anything and cannot do anything.and they locked up prisoners in there for 23 hours each day for up to 3 weeks okie.it's really damn scary,we tried going in and then switching off the light. eeyer,i tink can go mad there lor. incidentally,the number of cuckoo prisoners increased after they introduced this punishment. eeyer.

went for a ghost tour after that where apparently ppl who take photos sometimes can see images when they develop.was scared at first then wah lao,it was actually a tour with the guy talkin on and on and on.making scary noises and sound effects.nothing really much actually.haha.coogan was scared though,so damn funny.i kept running my fingers over his back and whispering 'coogan...coogan...' hahaha,whee!!! =)

so yeah,the ghost tour ended about 10.30pm so had to head back after that.once we started the car right,we realised that the petrol gauge was pointing to almost empty and we freaked out la.cuz in tassie,everything closes at 5pm and it was already 11pm. and we were 2 hours drive away from sandy bay. stressed wei. but thank god, after driving for lyk dunno how long (cuz i fell asleep, oops =p ) we managed to find petrol station that was open and we could go home after that. God really blessed us with journey mercy man. =)

yup,that's the road trip summed up in 12 paragraphs?come to think of it,it was quite fun la.when i have enough money,mebe we should do it again.hahaha. in a long time more. enjoy the pics and have fun laughing at *someone* screaming her head off. open your eyes big big and spot her okie! hahaha.

came across this poem today and I was touched by it.so simple and yet it conveys so much meaning.we always go out into the world with all our ideals,about how we want to be,how we want our partners to be.we solemnly promise our friends that we love them so much and that we'll go to the ends of the earth for them,bla bla bla.but then you come across such a poem and then you think,yeah,that's what being a friend is about.jus simply being there. =)

oh wells,time for updates again!sometimes it amazes me how so many things can occur and change within a period of a week?within this one week i have:

1)gone on a road trip which started out fun but turned out to be so freaking pissing off at the end.if you can call being chased by emus,ostriches and camels fun.but yeah,the 1st day was really fun!let's go to the zoo again!!!yay!!! =))) oooh and snow on mt wellington looks pretty but not nice one.so freakin cold up there.brrrrrr.

2)spent loads n loads of money...arggh!!!!my pocket hurts now...

3)realised that i miss my family and malaysia loaaaaaddsss.i wanna eat roti planta,nasi lemak,assam pedas,tau foo fah,rendang,tom yam,all my herbal soups,keropok,sushi.haiz so many la..everything here is either unavailable/tastes like crap/so freakin expensive.so miserable here.haiz. =(((

4)written non-stop in class for lecture notes but none of them seem to be going in.i write and write and write.. the lecturer asks a question i jus go "huh?when did i even learn that in e first place?". and then i go back and check my notes and oops,there it is! -_-

5)been to another great sunday morning service and indulged in a lovely time of worship.as a result,the songs 'hosanna', 'lead me to the cross' and 'mighty to save' are being played repeatedly in my mind and my ipod.haha.

6)seen someone for the jerk he really is and i feel lyk slapping him when i see him.me thinks he is so freaking troublesome and stupid and the fact that he hurt her jus adds to my anger.dont let me see you when i'm alone because i dunno what i might say or do to you.gentleman my ass.and the fact that you admitted oh so casually to her that you found it funny is jus plain sick. you disgust me.

7)realised that bcuz of that stupid fella's actions,it would be really hard to continue my friendships with them.and it makes me sad.cuz then i wouldnt be able to see them.ok la..him..hahahahaha...

8)had lots of fun being cuckoo and laughing non-stop lyk a gila person at home cuz of the stupid things we do.spamming ppl with spastic emoticons,looking at xan's screaming pictures and laughing at people's england.oh oh!and i've had a really nice toilet roll drawn by xan.whee! =)

9)gone through a really up and down week until i'm really tired now.if life can be so eventful in one week,i really don't wanna know what's coming up next week.haha.but we shall see.

10)not spoken to fei gong bcuz oh,she's preparing for her trials now.oops sorry,i didnt know!all the best and study hard k?no australia trip if you dont do well so better be good!hehe.
