Boo, classes have started. One month has flown by so quickly, not nice at all. Must go back to KDU where perks i.e cute guys are not available. Got my schedule for this semester already. KDU cheats money,KDU cheats money. Where got people doing law degree take only 1 law subject out of 4 subjects?? But no choice, they’re my electives (but still cheating cuz I can’t choose them myself).

Subjects I’m taking this sem: Introduction to Law part 2, Philosophy, U.S history and English composition part 2. wanted to change EC to sociology but timetables clash so cannot. Unfair la. English is so boring. Hopefully the rest is quite ok. Got DCruz everyday but I dun mind cuz she’s quite nice and funny (I dig you. Ha!) and luckily only see Zachariah twice a week. Fridays still off, thank goodness so more or less the same as last semester.

Results were better than expected considering the last-minute studying so was really pleased with myself. Kind of confirmed my decision to stay on to do law since I felt that I wasn’t really suited to do law but my results proved me wrong. The only thing I dun like is that my sem stretches all the way to December. I’ve never had to study until December before!! I can’t take it!! I’ve more or less planned to go Australia during the Dec hols one leh, now give me this kind of crap timetable and spoil all my plans. Grrr.

was at Kelantan for the whole of this week since it’s my hols and I haven’t been there for quite long,almost a year already.had to help my mum give tuition to the kids there and I tell you,it was a wonder I didn’t come back half-crazed.

how can 3-5 year old kids be such brats???felt like smacking them but I’ll probably be charged with child abuse or something by their over-protective parents.bah.tsk tsk,they are such manipulative little beings despite the young age and it goes to show the human mind can be devious when it wants to no matter how old you are.nah,not really but still.

when their parents brought them in,crazy!!screaming n crying with all their tears streaming down then fighting with me over the door.madness.bring them in they run out again.lock the door scream at the top of their lungs cuz they cannot escape.at first felt quite bad and sympathised with them but ha!! They revealed their true colours when crayons and chocolates were brought out.brats.

when ‘class’ started,they didn’t want to join in the games and story-telling so fine la,juz let them sit in one corner.then when they warm up enough already, they’ll sidle up to you and say ‘lao shi,wo yao tang guo.wo yao qiao ke li’ (teacher, I wan sweets,I wan chocolates) then have to give them to bribe them to join in the activities. at the end of the lesson,super happy then tell their parents they want to come for the next lesson.next lesson,scenario repeated with all the screamings again.indecisive little kids.tsk.

luckily they have the cute little part of them that I sayang so much else I’ll throw them all out of class except for a few really cute ones.haha luckily I’m not a full-fledged kindergarten teacher else
i. I’ll go crazy.
ii.The parents will report me (but to who??hahahaha)
iii.The kids will grow fat gorging on the chocolates I bribe them with
iv. they will do repeated classes of sing along songs, threading, story-telling and writing on dotted lines. you can’t seem to make 3-5 yr olds do anything apart from these!!
v. Certain kids will grow up with low self-esteem since I practise favouritism. Haha not that apparent (to them) but let’s face it,wouldn’t you choose a cute one that holds on to your hand and sits in your lap rather than get the screaming one who alternates between sulking and bawling??

Note: teaching kids once in a while make me realise how much my teachers must have suffered but at the same time I feel good because there’s no way I could have been that bratty in kindergarten. If I was, I’m proud of the way I turned out.hahahaha. =)

spent my hols reading the whole Harry Potter series.haha I know I abit laggin la but somehow dun seem to have e time n Huey Jean juz bought the whole series onli.so I took my time reading the books and it’s quite interesting la.had to read book 1 to 5 before I started on the half-blood prince cuz needed to refresh memory abit.and I was so frustrated reading all 5 books because I wanted to head straight for the 6th book but it would be kinda stupid to read book 6 den 12345 so no choice,muz tahan abit but luckily the books were attention grabbing except for the order of phoenix.twist and turn so many rounds but in the end also dun reali hav a storyline,juz elaborating on the previous books.psshh!!

verdict on half-blood prince: not bad overall but veri ci-gek cuz like how can D die???it absolutely doesn’t make sense!!to me,he seems to be the main character of the whole Harry Potter series cuz he’s the one always helping Harry.Harry is just lucky la,he doesn’t actually have any real powers to cope with all the evil,twisted-minded wizards & Voldemorts in the world so why is he the main character??haha but it’ll be stupid to call it Dumbledore and the blah blah blah series so yeah,maybe Harry Potter was the better choice after all.and stupid Professor Snape,I knew it I knew it!! when I came to that part,I was like exclaiming to myself ‘I knew it.stupid. Dumbledore shouldn’t have trusted him at all.really bodoh.grr.’ but at the same time,I was like really hoping that he wasn’t dead cuz how 2 continue the story from here???but not too bad,I like the 6th book despite mixed reviews and I can’t wait for the movie to come out so I can compare how it fares against the book.haha n I heard the actor playing Cedric Diggory is quite cute.unlike some people,I haven’t gone to the website to check out the characters yet so will wait to be surprised.hopefully not too ugly la else where’s the fun in that?? =)

pooh,the haze in kl is getting freakin bad.even when stuck in the house with windows and doors closed,you can actually smell the stale air and it's disgustingly polluted.i have to wear a mask at home,wth.and when you look out of the window,all you see is a cloud of haze.you cant even see far.it's like being in genting highlands but a stinkier and dirtier version.oh btw,i juz read somewhere that ppl in Singapore pronounce GH as jenting highlands whereas ppl in Malaysia say gernting highlands.reali??i didn't know that.hehe.but ok,i digress.

and so,because of the seriously bad haze whereby sch was cancelled and my cousins got to stop sch for 2 days(!!!) [how fair is that when i'm havin my hols and i dun enjoy perks like this on normal sch days? =( ],my aunty decided to go down to malacca bcuz apparently shopping centres are also full of people and she's gettin fed up being stuck at home with my noisy 3 cousins.so we packed our bags and it was bye bye kl and hello malacca at 7.45pm. =)

woah when we reached malacca,the whole place was soooo clean.haha as in,in comparison to kl la of corz.no haze in sight and no ppl around!!hehe and you know malacca is the place whereby the food is reali great rite,so we had a sort of binge-ing feast durin our 2days stay in malacca.haha i feel fat juz tinkin abt the food oredi.

we arrived at 9plus and we headed straight for the satay celup stall where we ate loads and loads of sticks of satay celup.[note:this is diff from normal satay ok,this one u muz dip in kuah and let it boil there.haha] i tink ee eu ate like 20sticks and this is supper for goodness sake!!and he's onli 11!!yummy yummy yum yum.cannot stop eating.hehe.

as all we did was eat,i will simplify matters by stating our (food) itinerary.
next day: breakfast---> roti canai
lunch-->char siew rice,chicken rice,hei pia,rojak
tea-->satay
dinner-->wan tan mee
supper-->chicken wings,fried oyster,you char kway

yup,that's all we did in malacca while we were there with a few bouts of shoppin in between.hehe not bad ryt.on the downside,while everyone was enjoyin their food,i could onli nibble at bits and pieces cuz of wad else so nope,i'm not being greedy and i didn't put on (alot of) weight.haha =)

it's Singapore's national day today!HAPPY BIRTHDAY Singapore!!hehe dis yr marks my 2nd year in Malaysia and seriously,i miss watching the national day parade on tv.haha.it's quite fun and it's definitely loads better than malaysia's ndp.haha ok fine,i noe i sound unpatriotic but i was sooo bored during Merdeka last year.the tv programs were basically wth.hee if the Malaysian govt knew that,they'll prob charge me in court.hey,i bet they knew that that's why i got selected for the NS program.blardy hell.hav u realised that everyone hu got selected for the NS program doesn't even want 2 go and all those crazy ppl hu wan to go dun even get selected??where's the fairness of this??grr..

oh and the braces finally went in today!!after much time(and pain),the braces are finally in my mouth and hopefully by feb 2007,they'll be out.yay!!haha.but it hurts as usual cuz there's like somethin stuck inside the mouth.and the dentist must have made my wire too long or some nonsense cuz it's cuttin into the side of my mouth and i'm gettin ulcers inside.and like pieces of skin get hooked onto the braces.ouch.porridge day again.so boring.yuck.

Sean kor organized a small gathering because it was his birthday and he was back in Malaysia for once since he’s mostly based in England and France.so we went to his house and had dinner there.his mum drove down to Malacca and bought laksa,mee siam,chicken rice,cendol and other yummy stuff from my cousin,whose husband opens this nonya shop in Malacca and sells all these delicious food.then sean’s aunty from his mum’s side roasted a lamb that was almost like those sold in restaurants.i’m amazed at the culinary skills of people sometimes.it was a really small gathering with just the family around but as usual,it was fun.there’s just something about the chua family that makes it so nice and enjoyable to hang out with them.when I was younger,I didn’t reali like going to all these family gatherings because they held no appeal for me.but somehow as I got older,I realized that my family’s fun to be with!haha and I tink the adults are closer now after my grandma’s death because it has suddenly dawned on them that life on earth is unpredictable and they should cherish the loved ones they have with them.so after 2001,we had family vacations and gatherings several times a year.not that I’m complaining!!!i absolutely love spending time with my cousins.i tink they are the only ones who can make me laugh constantly and unconsciously whenever I’m with them.there are times when I’m laughing and smiling but I dun reali mean it.it never happens with my cousins though.i always laugh non-stop with them until our sides are aching.tonight was no exception.i enjoyed myself humongously until we almost choked on the food.

Hahaha and all of us agree that the guy at MidValley GSC movie counter #1 is freakin cute la.i tink malay guys are getting cuter and cuter and this guy absolutely rocks!haha this conversation came up because Huey Jean and I queued up for half an hour to buy fantastic four tickets and he happened to be the guy serving us la.ooh la la,sooooo cute.hahaha.and apparently Siang has also bought tickets from this guy before and we all agree he’s cute.that’s a rare occasion because all of us have very different tastes in guys.so it goes to show that he must be reali cute for all of us to agree.hehehe.and he’s so nice sumore. ‘thank you,have a nice day.see you again.’ And all because we bought movie tickets.wow imagine him saying it dunno how many times a day.sooo cute and nice.haha and ok fine,we’ve agreed that he’s Siang’s.there’s been an agreement between the 3 of us that Siang will marry a malay,Huey Jean will marry an Indian and I’ll marry the angmoh.haha suits me just fine.i wanna get an ABC aniwae.haha.so we’ll see how it goes. =)

The only downside to the whole evening was that I couldn’t eat properly.my teeth still hurt and I could only eat the meehoon which is considered a great achievement since I’ve been living on porridge for the past few days.hehe. =)

went for 2nd visit today at the dentist to have my beloved remaining two teeth pulled out.let’s juz say that this visit was even worse than the last.the stupid dentist is lucky that I didn’t sue him for negligence or malpractice.he satisfies the 3 elements of negligence for sure.does he owe me a duty of care??of course!!! Has he breached the duty of care??definitely yes.were there any damages suffered as a result of that breach of care??bloody hell,YES YES YES!!!emotional trauma,indescribable pain,loss of confidence in his professional ability and a whole long list.stupid dentist.he better thank God I’m a nice person (and that I’m too poor to sue him considering how much more he probably earns than me).

I’m gonna list down all the stupid things he did to me so that when I get rich next time,I have evidence to prove that he was negligent and can sue the pants off him.

1.he did not have enough anesthetic and had to stop halfway to get another bottle.
2.he stuck the syringe into my gums and had the nerve to conveniently forget that it was there and started chit-chatting to the nurses until I howled in pain.only then did he remember and apologized to me before finishing the procedure.
3.he positioned the pincer on my tooth and then there was this loud POP sound.thinking that it was my tooth,I opened my eyes wide only to hear him say that his hand accidentally slipped and the pincers had clicked together.imagine if half my tooth came out.bloody hell.

It was seriously torture and even my dad was pissed with him.and to make matters worse,the dentist put in separators to push my teeth apart and it freakin hurts because I cant bite properly.why oh why didn’t anybody tell me that putting braces was such a torture????????
